About the BadFish

“When you grab ahold of me,
tell me that I’ll never be set free.
But I’m a parasite,
creep and crawl I step into the night.
Two pints of booze.
Tell me, are you a Badfish too?

In the early church, Christians chose the so-called “Jesus fish” as a way of secretly identifying other Christians during the time of persecution under the Roman empire. They would draw the fish in the sand, signaling to other Christians that they were one of them. But we ain’t your average Jesus fish. We don’t always swim with the currents.

“Ain’t got no quarrels with God.
Ain’t got no time to grow old.
The Lord knows I’m weak,
won’t somebody get me off of this reef?”

The BadFish are just a bunch of guys down at the pub, having a couple pints, choppin’ it up about whatever’s on our mind. There is no agenda, no assumptions, no prerequisites, no judgments, no wrong answers. There is plenty of good beer, good company, good conversation, and a bit of barroom theology.

The articles you’ll find here are derived from either our barroom conversations or stuff we’ve found on the internet.

So tell me, are you a Badfish too?

This. Is. Amazing. I just happened to come across this little blog/group thing you’ve got going here and my jaw is on the floor. This blog basically covers every single meaningful conversation I’ve had in the past year and a half. However, I am sad to see that there hasn’t been anything new posted in recent history! Please, I beg you, I BESEECH you, start making some new posts. I guarantee if you keep writing posts like you did, you would get a ridiculous amount of new traffic to the site, and it would please me very much. Thanks for all that you’ve done so far. Peace.
